Data Deletion

To delete your data, email privacy@dmhive.io with the subject "Data deletion request". We acknowledge within 3 business days and complete the request within 30 days.
If you are a dmhive customer
- Self-service. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. The account and all associated data (contacts, conversations, scenarios, connected messaging accounts) are deleted within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within 35 days.
- By email. Write to privacy@dmhive.io from the address your account is registered to. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm ownership of the account.
You can also delete part of your data, for example an uploaded chat archive or a single contact, without closing the account. Just tell us what to remove.
If you messaged a business that uses dmhive
Your messages are stored in that business's workspace and are controlled by it. Please contact the business you were messaging first: it can delete your contact record and conversation history itself.
If you cannot reach the business, write to privacy@dmhive.io. Include the account you were messaging (on Instagram, Telegram or another messenger) and your own username or ID there: that is enough for us to locate the data. We will forward the request to the workspace owner and make sure it is carried out.
Deleting data received through Meta platforms
If you remove our app in your Instagram or Facebook settings, Meta notifies us automatically and we delete the platform data associated with that connected account. No separate request is needed.
You may also send a request manually: in your Instagram or Facebook settings, open the connected apps section, select dmhive and remove the app, or contact us directly.

What we must retain
Some records cannot be deleted on request: accounting and payment documents are retained for as long as the law requires. Such records are not used for any purpose other than meeting that obligation.
